This stunning heritage listed home underwent a first-floor renovation in 2023. The original kitchen and living room were opened up to create a naturally well-lit open plan space for the family to enjoy. The clients were. keen to incorporate colour into their joinery and took inspiration from their well-manicured gardens which are visible from the kitchen.

When designing a traditional-style kitchen, selecting integrated appliances will assist in achieving that look and feel. The View Street kitchen has an integrated Miele fridge &freezer, a Qasair Eaton rangehood and a Neff dishwasher. The undermount white Franke sink sits seamlessly in the island bench, positioned perfectly for the user to take in the views of the Derwent River.
The 80cm induction cook top is centred over the ovens and warming drawer. The Qasair rangehood was selected based on its quiet operation which is an important consideration in an open plan living space.
This peaceful kitchen has bought new life and increased functionality into this old home for many generations to enjoy, with quality joinery, hardware, and appliances to stand the test of time.
