DELIVERY

For delivery at the rate of $79 for a drop to door no frills delivery. OR the client may allocate for full service delivery, which entails delivery, unpacking and taking packaging away. Where possible this may also include taking away old washers, dryers or dishwashers. The charge for the full service delivery is $139.

INSTALLATION

Depending on the brand, Elite Appliances’ delivery drivers may assist with installing washing machines and dryers with stacking kits. At an additional charge We do not install dishwashers, ovens or any other appliances, but are happy to recommend professionals who can do this for you. For further information on this please speak to your sales consultant, as conditions do apply to washer installations. Where applicable please see guidelines for Installation and Removal of Existing Washers and Dryers. In cases where a courier service is used, installation will unfortunately not be included.

REMOVAL OF OLD APPLIANCES

Our delivery drivers can remove old appliances but this must be discussed at the point of sale, as it is on an all-care, no-responsibility basis. The unit to be removed must be uninstalled, free of cabinetry and disconnected from any water or power mains. Additional fees may apply. We will not disconnect any appliance, and if we need to return to site to pick up and remove an old appliance there is an additional fee of $79. In cases where a courier service is used, removal of an old appliance will unfortunately not be possible.

SAFETY

Safety must always come first in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety laws. As a result we ask that you give us as much detail prior to delivery on any hazardous obstacles at your home or building site, or whether there are stairs or multiple stories involved in getting your items into your home. If our delivery drivers get to your home or building site and deem it hazardous to their health or find risk of damaging property or goods then they will be forced to return the goods to Elite Appliances warehouse. Subsequent deliveries to the site will then be invoiced at $35 per delivery. This is also the case if we are on time and nobody is home to receive the goods. To keep your delivery and all others on time for the day, our driver will wait 15 minutes after arrival at your property and attempt to contact you on your nominated phone number.

DELIVERY SCHEDULE FOR SOUTHERN TASMANIA

For deliveries not within these areas our warehouse will liaise with you on how best to get your purchase to you on time and in one piece.

Generally our trucks are on the road from 8:30am-5pm and you are able to allocate a morning or afternoon delivery time. Alternatively we can organise the delivery drivers to call 30 minutes prior, to allow you a chance to be on site to receive the goods and inspect them. Any damage claims must be made within 48 hours of the delivery. Elite Appliances retains ownership of the goods until paid for in full.
